What one word would you use to describe your attitude about attending the 20 year reunion?: Curious
What have you been doing for the past 10 years and what do you hope to do in the next 10 years?: After living in Manyaunk for several years, I moved back to the suburbs in 2000. (confession: Abington not Cheltenham). Two awesome children arrived soon after, Leon (7) and Allyson (5). I have worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency since I graduated from college - first as an engineer, and now as a lawyer/official bureaucrat. Although in the future I'd generally like to 'slow down and smell the flowers' - a trip to India or mastering a musical instrument would be nice too.

What one word would you use to describe your attitude about attending the 20 year reunion?: curious
What have you been doing for the past 10 years and what do you hope to do in the next 10 years?: Well, let's see...I am the proud mom of three beautiful children (Max and Melanie, 8 , Sam, 3 ). I have found parenting to be the most challenging, yet the most rewarding experience in my life so far. My husband, Kevin, and I will be married 13 years in November and have really grown up together!! Professionally, I was a therapist in the inner-city schools for 10 years, and recently became certified in Yoga. I believe that I have found my calling in Yoga, and hope to continue teaching, as well as open my own studio one day!
From esther: Wow, I can't believe it's been 20 years! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. Wish we had more than just a few hours to catch up!! BTW, this website is awesome!!

Occupation: Mortgage Securities

Marital Status: Married
What have you been doing for the past 10 years and what do you hope to do in the next 10 years?: 10 years ago I made a carreer change after living in Aspen for 3 years and having been in the ski industry since college. I found myself in mortgage servcing and after moving around a bit, ended up on the Investment Mortgage Securities side working for GMAC/RFC and now Goldman Sachs for the past 3 years.
Having spent the past 10 years focusing on career opportunities and moving, there was little time for social committment. I did manage to get weekends on the snowboard while living in Salt Lake City and ran the San Diego marathon 3 times.
Moved to Tampa with Goldman Sachs three years ago and started dating a friend I had known for a few years who is now my wife of four months. She is bright and beautiful and as an attorney I always stay on her good side.
Seeing the pics of everyone brings the memories back like it was the 5 year reunion .... I'm just glad no one cuffs their jeans any more.
Going to stay on the career path with the wife, fit in some travel to the islands and look for snow on the mountains as well as time on the water in my sea kayak since we are one block from the Bay.
Sorry will not make the event but it looks like the Class of '87 has a lot to talk about. Best to all and continued success in life, love and family

What one word would you use to describe your attitude about attending the 20 year reunion?: curious
What have you been doing for the past 10 years and what do you hope to do in the next 10 years?: I have been living an interesting life as an American expat in London for the past 5 years - still married to my college sweetheart. I enjoy the continuous challenges presented by life abroad (my elder, age 3, already has homework in kindergarten and speaks the Queen's English).
Although I practiced as an occupational therapist for 10 years in New York City, my qualifications were not transferable. I have earned a certificate degree in photography and enjoy taking a variety of rather silly art history classes. Perhaps in the near future, I will get more involved in charity work or sit for my certification to practice in the UK. For the moment, I enjoy raising my children and playing in Europe!

What have you been doing for the past 10 years and what do you hope to do in the next 10 years?: 20 years ago, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school and worked as a shipboard electrician. It was definitely an adventure, and I did see the world. Stationed in Guam on a Submarine Tender, and then in San Fransisco on a Mine Sweeper when the gulf war broke out in 1991, I got to see much of the south pacific and the west coast. I came home and met my bride to be, and enrolled in Temple University's Electrical Engineering program. Somewhere along the way, I found an interest in robotics, and won a local robotics competition. With my military and engineering backgrounds, Lockheed Martin showed an interest in me. I now work for Lockheed Martin in an Artificial Intelligence Laboratory developing autonomous vehicle technologies for use by the armed forces. Typical applications are for force multiplication purposes, and keeping soldiers out of harms way.
Amy and I have been blessed with 2 awesome kids, Jack (8), and Grace (4 going on 34). We currently reside in Cherry Hill, NJ. As far as I can tell, the next 10 years will involve raising our 2 children, and coming up with more robotic innovations.
